A Partner of Paris 2024
An exceptional commitment for Groupe BPCE
Groupe BPCE has become the first Premium Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Groupe BPCE, with its key Banque Populaire, Caisse d’Epargne and Natixis brands, had already enjoyed the status of exclusive banking partner of the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF) and the French Olympic Team since 2010. It also shares the same values defended by the Olympic movement: Excellence, Friendship, and Respect.
In 2019 Groupe BPCE, along with its brands, is writing a new chapter in its commitment to top-level sport as the first group to join the Paris 2024 national partnership program. In its capacity as a Premium Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, it is teaming up with one of the world’s most powerful events in terms of media coverage, and the biggest ever organized in France. It has also signed a partnership agreement with France’s Olympic and Paralympic teams until 2024.
This fine project will be able to count on the active support of the Group’s different companies, the Banque Populaire banks, the Caisses d’Epargne, Natixis, Crédit Coopératif, Banque Palatine and their 106,500 employees throughout France over the next six years.
The federating power of sport
From initiation to high-level competition, from family fun to the toughest of challenges, all the companies of Groupe BPCE help to foster a passion for sport both in everyday practice and at exceptional sporting events.
Through its Votre Coach by Groupe BPCE program, the Group highlights the work done by the sports coaches supporting the different athletes in the French Olympic team. Through this program, the coaches share their advice and experience with all sports enthusiasts.
For the past 30 years, Banque Populaire has been actively committed to the world of sailing. Building on its experience with different vessels and its rich collaboration with outstanding sailors, the Bank of the World of Sailing has been involved in the most prestigious events on all the seas and oceans around the world. In 2017, Armel Le Cléach', the skipper of the monohull Banque Populaire VIII, was the first to cross the finishing line of the 8th edition of the Vendée Globe. A partner of the French Sailing Federation and patron of the Eric Tabarly Association, the bank is widely recognized as one of the leading institutions promoting the development of this sport and the preservation of France’s maritime heritage.
Since 2015, the Caisse d’Epargne has been a partner of the men and women's teams of the French Basketball and Handball federations.
It supports them in the major international sporting events and has set up affinity-based spaces on the social networks providing specific information, games and forums to allow the public to share its passion for handball and basketball.
The Caisse d'Epargne has also been a partner of the French Skiing Federation since 1996, supporting athletes from all skiing and snowboard disciplines.
Natixis supports the Racing Metro 92 rugby team, having been its official sponsor since 2007.
