Sport & Patronage

Actively involved in the life of its catchment area, Banque Populaire Bourgogne Franche-Comté (BPBFC) supports projects that heighten the prestige and influence of the region as a whole. As such, it reasserts its values and ambitions by making societal issues an integral part of its role as an economic player:

  • Making culture accessible to all by promoting and supporting cultural players: the VYV Music Festival, the La Rodia concert hall, the FRAC Franche-Comté regional collection of contemporary art, the Dijon Opera, Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin (the International Center of Gastronomy and Wine), etc.
  • Making sport a vector of inclusion by supporting both sporting events and individual athletes (the Chablis and Nevers Marathons, sports clubs, the Paralympic athletes Léa Ferney and Sandrine Martinet, etc.)
  • Commitment to actions promoting sustainability by heightening employees’ awareness and offering them support, promoting regional service providers, contributing to the restoration of local forests in association with Reforest'Action, and supporting the greening of the Citadel of Besançon with the creation of gardens.
